Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract and hire top talent across various departments including electric, gas, corporate support functions and competitive businesses. We support operations across four states including our headquarters at CenterPoint Energy Tower in Houston. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic, collaborative team of leaders at one of the most respected companies not only in Houston but across the entire utility industry. The Talent Acquisition team is dedicated to innovation, collaboration and service.
Specifically, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal clients providing SME support in all aspects of the recruiting life cycles including:
- Workforce planning and forecasting
- Sourcing and posting strategies to identify qualified, inclusive applicant pools
- Developing and executing best practices in interviewing and selection processes
- Efficient management of the processes and documentation with attention to compliance
- Demonstrate innovative uses of technology
- Develop social media strategies and niche recruiting programs
- Lead business managers through effective and compliant selection processes
- Develop internal and external relationships to drive better outcomes
- Track key recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to leadership
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR peers and business leaders to provide solutions for hiring needs
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting and sourcing
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting regional operations across multiple states
- Experience using SuccessFactors applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Experience recruiting for a wide range of roles and seniority levels (Director and Officer levels)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively handle high volume hiring environments
