Employee Resource Groups

The CNP Military Network unites and supports CenterPoint Energy’s military personnel and their families, including connecting with CNP’s non-military personnel, external military and the local community, while also providing veteran and business resources for a successful transition from military to civilian life. 

Membership in the CNP Network is available to all CNP employees. All members are eligible to serve on chair committees, become candidates for elected office, and vote in CNP Military Network elections.

CNP Military Veterans: Sean Stewart

Sean is a native Houstonian and graduate of Texas A&M University. He joined the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and was stationed on a ship in Norfolk, VA and then San Diego, CA.

After completing two deployments to the Middle East and obtaining the rank of Lieutenant, Sean left the Navy in 2009 and joined the CenterPoint Energy family. He currently serves as the Vice President of Workplace, Fleet Shops and Radio Service.
