Job Summary:
The Senior Asset Recovery Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the company’s Asset Recovery program, which manages obsolete and end-of-life materials, equipment, and fleet vehicles to maximize financial returns. This role is responsible for reporting, data analytics, and internal/external engagement to ensure the program's effectiveness and alignment with corporate sustainability and financial goals.
Essential Functions:
Data & Analytics: Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track asset sales, financial recovery performance, and sustainability impacts.
Reporting: Prepare periodic reports detailing sales revenue, cost savings, and program efficiencies for leadership and stakeholders.
Engagement & Coordination: Work closely with internal departments, including Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, to facilitate asset identification, valuation, and disposition.
External Relations: Support vendor relationships, auction houses, and third-party buyers to optimize recovery values while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all asset disposals meet regulatory and company compliance standards, maintaining accurate records for audit purposes.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency in Asset recovery efforts.
Market Research: Monitor industry trends and pricing benchmarks to maximize asset resale values.
Education Description:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred. Will consider relevant job-related CenterPoint Energy experience for non-degree candidates.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in supply chain, Investment or Asset recovery, asset management, materials management, demand planning, warehousing or related areas.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
Excellent communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of asset disposal methods, sustainability initiatives, and procurement best practices is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
