Job Summary

Design, implement, and administer employee compensation programs and, as needed, support executive compensation programs, including long-term incentive and deferred compensation plans. Serve as a trusted advisor to management by providing compensation recommendations, conducting analyses, and presenting clear, actionable findings. Review job descriptions, perform job evaluations, and lead market-pricing and survey activities to assess competitive compensation levels using a variety of pricing techniques. Lead projects and develop recommendations that support effective compensation program design, administration, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

  • Administer company compensation programs and related processes, including base pay, incentive, sales compensation, long-term incentive compensation, and stock plan administration.
  • Monitor compensation program elements such as pay adjustments, promotions, job changes, incentive plans, and awards. Develop and maintain procedures that support consistent, equitable administration and recommend program design changes as needed.
  • Lead and participate in internal and external compensation studies using market-pricing tools and reporting systems to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Present findings to management and recommend actions based on market and internal equity analysis.
  • Partner with Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Accounting, and other functions to prepare for filings and respond to requests for information in a timely manner. Conduct research and analyze data to develop accurate, complete responses.
  • Advise management and Human Resources on organizational changes, including position design, job title changes, and related compensation considerations.
  • Evaluate new and revised positions using market pricing, job slotting, and internal comparison methodologies. Maintain pay structures and develop compensation recommendations for management.
  • Maintain the integrity of compensation and job-related data in human resource information systems, including SAP, for personnel and position changes such as FLSA status and EEO category updates.
  • Stay current on compensation trends, regulations, and best practices, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Pay Act, and compensation-related regulatory requirements, to support compliant program administration.

Education Description

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance, or other field. Certification from WorldatWork (CCP) is desired.

Experience

  • Requires a minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in compensation administration including base salary administration, use of market surveys, job pricing techniques, job evaluation, variable pay design and administration, and regulatory compliance.
