Job Summary:
The Process Improvement Analyst will partner with electric and gas supply chain teams to drive efficiency across the supply chain process. The analyst is responsible to understand supply chain processes to use structured process improvement and problem-solving methods that will add sustainable value. The position will be a key role in data tracking, analysis, and collection. The analyst will make recommendations, for change and improvement, based on key performance indicators and metrics. This position will have the opportunity to interface with upper management and help drive efficient decision making.
Essential Functions:
•Independently use resources like SAP, Excel, Tableau, and others to collect and interpret data.
•Build metrics and KPI’s from collected and analyzed data.
•Work with regional managers to implement KPI tracking and meet with leaders to discuss KPI performances.
•Encourage a continuous improvement mindset and provide input to improvement opportunities.
•Working closely with project managers to keep projects organized, on time, and moving forward.
•Provide insights from analyzed and collected data through presentations, models, and written word.
•Build and maintain relationships with regional leaders across all CenterPoint territories.
•Support, Develop, Implement and Manage strategic and/or improvement projects with clear and measurable objectives.
•Clearly communicate data modeling concepts to an audience that may not be familiar with or use data modeling.
•Find correlations between variables and interpret/find the causes of certain correlations of data variables.
•Run regression analysis on different variables related to the Supply Chain Organization. Interpret the regression to make meaningful conclusions.
•Research and develop a working knowledge of the utility supply chain landscape inside and outside of CenterPoint.
•Develop basic knowledge of financial statements (income, balance sheet, cash flows) and understand how different actions impact all three.
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relative experience
Business, Data Analytics, Process Improvement, Engineering or Supply Chain Management - will consider relevant job-related CenterPoint Energy experience for non-degree candidates.
Preferred Skills:
•3+ years relevant work experience in business, data analytics, supply chain, process improvement, or utility engineering.
•Strong data and math skills including correlation and regression analysis.
•SAP, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel experience required. Tableau or Power BI preferred.
•Must be self-motivated and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a Team.

Compensation: $66,078.40 to $99,117.60 Annually
CenterPoint Energy is required by Minnesota law to provide a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum starting compensation range at the time of posting for the opportunity. This annual compensation range is specific to Minnesota and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
