Job Summary

CenterPoint Energy is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst IAM (SAP Security) to join our Identity and Access Management Team, located in Houston, Texas.  

You will have responsibility for the day-to-day implementation and administration of security for a 24x7 SAP production environment and providing access security functions for SAP ABAP and SAP HANA systems. This is accomplished by designing and implementing new security roles to support business requirements.  This function is also responsible for monitoring compliance with IT policies and procedures, and CNP regulatory requirements.
 

Essential Functions


•    Comply with all internal and regulated controls. 
•    Implement security policies and procedures for SAP environment.
•    Creates and maintains users for SAP ABAP and S/4 HANA systems. 
•    Creates and maintains roles in SailPoint IIQ to administer RBAC for SAP environment.
•    Maintain and assign pre-authorized user accounts across all SAP instances and clients including passwords, pre-defined roles and profiles, and activity groups.
•    Facilitate security requirements between SAP user community, configuration and programming teams, and SAP R/3 Security Administration.
•    Evaluate technical error screens to identify required authorizations objects.
•    Assess authorization objects in roles and identify security violations within roles.
•    Add/remove authorization objects in SAP roles to confirm with business needs and security requirements.
•    Establish OSS connections and maintain developer keys within SAP Workspace application.
•    Provide support and assistance during internal and external audits. 
•    Research, evaluate and implement new security products, procedures, and methods.
•    Investigate misuse of computer resources.
•    Develop and administer information security rules and authorizations.
•    Provide business continuance support.
•    Perform SOX testing on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
•    Provide 24-hour on-call support, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

 

Education Description

Requires a bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university.
 

Experience


•    Requires a minimum of three years’ experience in SAP R3 security, including experience with Business Warehouse/HANA, ECC 6.0, SAP GRC (Access Risk Analysis and Emergency Access Management).
•    Requires a minimum of two years’ experience in analyzing access and segregation of duties risks specific to the S/4 HANA environment.
•    Requires foundational knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). Experience in performing SOX testing is a plus.
