Financial Analyst in Security Strategy & Governance
You will be responsible for the financial management of the funding in the physical security and enterprise cybersecurity in support of services and programs operated within the Security Strategy & Governance organization. These activities include budgeting and forecasting, as well as the review, maintenance and improvement of budgetary practices and financial analysis to mature and control of the financial data. This role will require financial project management skills with broad responsibilities for a variety of financial support components including business and cost modeling using MS Excel, budget formulation and maintenance and execution as well as forecasting and planning.
- Work in close coordination with teams to assist with all activities related to creating, managing, and communicating the budget
- Streamline initiative budgets into a consolidated organizational budget for the review of all funding requests
- Develop plans and strategies for the communication of spending plans, operating plans, budget execution, and all other budget-related reports, plans, and topics
- Organize data to be able to provide types of analysis and key metrics
- Monitor and adjust, as necessary, organizational spending to ensure it complies with the budget
- Inform necessary personnel of the status and availability of funds
- Utilize spreadsheets along with budgeting, statistical analysis, and SAP software to understand options and provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Aiding in the development of spending plans, operating plans, and budget execution to include strategic planning, budget formulation, budget presentation, budget execution, performance, and evaluation of project results
- Centralize all budgets, forecasts and invoice alignment
Required Skills
- Demonstrable experience in financial analysis, financial planning and budgeting
- Great communication skills with stakeholders
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, expert Excel user preferred
- Experience with SAP is preferred
