Job Summary
Leadership and Direction: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the warehouse departments for the enterprise, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Operational Coordination:  Direct and coordinate warehousing, and distribution activities to improve accuracy, meet capital deployment goals, achieve cost savings, and uphold customer service & safety standards. 
Inventory Management: Oversee the seamless movement, storage, processing, and control of inventory across the supply chain, ensuring optimal efficiency and accuracy.  
Stakeholder Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure goods are maintained and delivered to the right place at the right time, adhering to established CNP safety guidelines.  
Performance Optimization: Continuously refine existing procedures and identify opportunities for performance optimization, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Essential Functions
•    Responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and procedures for activities relating to the Warehouse organization with contractors, suppliers, employees, and stakeholders to drive efficiency and excellence.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Planning and Materials Management teams to help establish the inventory strategy, as well as working with stakeholders to align their expectations for Vendor Managed Inventory minimum and maximum stock levels to the site-specific inventory strategy.  
•    Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality of delivery and reliability. Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality of delivery and reliability, holding suppliers accountable when under-performing and escalating to executive management when appropriate.
•    Keep informed of industry developments relative to materials and supplies and make recommendations designed to reduce risk and improve supply certainty.
•    Ensure operational procedures are followed for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory accurate.
•    Review operational data and reporting to identify inefficiencies and initiate corrective action of inefficiencies, shortfalls or other problems to optimize costs and prevent operational delays.
•    Establish, monitor, and maintain productivity and quality standards, develops budget and cost controls, and focus on continuous improvement within Supply Chain but specifically within Warehouse.
•    Track key performance metrics relating to supply chain planning including but not limited to, inventory accuracy, vendor performance, obsolete inventory; monitors planned vs. actual performance.  Hold management and employees accountable for performance metrics.
•    Support the All-Hazards Operations Plan (AHOP) through various activities including but not limited to own assigned role, team member roles and setting up, directing, maintaining, and providing a support for personnel, material, and equipment to Operational team or at Staging Sites.  AHOP assignment anticipated to include being part of the company incident command structure.
•    Champion continuous improvement initiatives both within warehousing and cross functionally, driving innovation and operational excellence.
•    Attend various stakeholder meetings e.g., engineering, operations, standards, accounting as well as supplier meetings pertaining to material readiness, construction timelines, job-planning and inventory levels.
•    Conducts various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, leadership development, and transfers of management level personnel.
•    Provides training, guidance, direction, and developmental opportunities to support staff growth and development.
•    Oversee regularly scheduled Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit testing/reporting as required.
•    Ensures employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations (OSHA, DOT, Homeland Security, etc.) including audits as required.
•    Monitors activities of work teams to ensure safe practices are in place and always followed. Conducting warehouse and equipment safety inspections, conducting accident investigations, and managing associated documentation (physicians’ statements, FMLA, safety inspection documents, etc.). 
•    Monitor buildings to ensure proper housekeeping is being practiced. Give guidance on safety and security issues, and interface with Corporate Security and Workplace Solutions on all issues.
•    Actively participates or assigns team members to be on various teams (e.g., Integrated Supply, All-Hazards Operating Plan, Slow Moving Material, Inventory Optimization, Best Practice) to drive collaborative efforts and achieve organizational goals.


Education Description
•    Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or other related disciplines.

Experience
•    Requires a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with progressive experience and responsibilities 
•    Requires three (3) years of experience leading a team of direct reports required.
