Job Summary

Center Point Energy is looking for an Energy Efficiency Lead Analyst to join our Team, located in Evansville, IN

You will have the ability to support the various areas of Energy Efficiency (EE) and demand side management (DSM).  Responsible for leading analysis on all DSM budgeting, forecasting, lost revenue adjustment mechanism (LRAM) analytics, and variance forecasting.  Responsible for the coordination of gas and electric program operating plans, annual reports, testimony support for regulatory filings and monthly scorecards.  The individual works closely with the Managers of EE on reporting, budgeting, and implementation of programs involving the validation of technical data.

Essential Functions

  • Communicate both internally and externally all projections or actual reporting of lost revenue calculations. 
  • Take lead role with accounting related projects, including support for account reconciliations for the annual Demand Side Management Adjustment (DSMA) tracker riding filings.
  • Coordinate with team to create plan filings, energy efficiency annual tracker filings, scorecards, and testimony as necessary.
  • Develop and document processes around energy and demand savings data and financial calculations that contribute to a better understanding of the impacts of energy efficiency programs.
  • Compile and maintain key performance and scorecard results for the department, used to track energy efficiency progress by the Oversight Board and alignment to corporate goals.
  • Process applicable invoices and submit accruals ensuring accuracy of billing.
  • Perform regulatory research to analyze the energy efficiency aspect of other utility filed Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) plans as well as attend or listen to their stake holder meetings and supporting documentation that is submitted by other Indiana utilities.
  • Review and reconcile pre and post evaluation data and ensure that key planning assumptions are updated per new evaluation findings.
  • Assist in executing the company’s demand response strategy.

Education Description

This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, finance, accounting, or related industry experience. 

Experience

Requires a minimum of six (6) years of relevant job experience with a strong background in business analysis, project management, or planning/reporting.
