Job Summary

CenterPoint Energy is looking for a Financial Controls Compliance Summer Intern to join our Team, located in Evansville, IN.   
 
You will have the ability to assist the Financial Controls Compliance team with a variety of projects.   

Essential Functions

• Support SOX process walkthroughs and documentation updates.
• Perform SOX system validations and review SOX control data for testing purposes.
• Perform employee authorization level annual review.                              
• Assist with development and enhancement of various documentation.
• Assist with SOX system/application reviews related to Financial Systems.
• Assist with entity-level control framework review.
• Assist with various other SOX-related projects.

Education Description

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student (Sophomore, Junior or Senior preferred) with a strong GPA pursuing an AACSB accredited bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field.

Experience

• No previous experience is required
