Job Summary

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing collaborative support to the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition team and our internal clients in areas that might include interview scheduling, reporting, post-offer screening and background checks, pre-employment testing, posting requisitions, and screening candidates. 

Essential Functions

  • Provide strategic support to the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition Team and internal clients.
  • Coordinate recruiting activities and provide analytical and collaborative support to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Review pre-employment screening reports, escalate to appropriate stakeholders when necessary
  • Order background checks, drug screenings, and other required pre-employment screening reports
  • Create a positive candidate experience by remaining attentive and responsive during the recruiting and pre-employment process
  • Timely and appropriate communication with internal and external customers
  • Communication with third party vendors to obtain results, when necessary
  • Ensure all searches comply with Company policies and procedures and with employment laws and regulations
  • Adherence to all DOT and FMCSA regulations and standards
  • Maintain working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws as well as current human resources best practices
  • Demonstrate strength, poise, and an appropriate presence.
  • Connect, Listen, and Share – Maintain open, active, two-way communication. 

Education Description

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is a plus. 

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional work experience in a corporate administrative or HR role.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience as a Recruiter in an agency or corporate environment is a plus.
  • Experience in SAP Success Factors and providing support through data analytics, reporting and presentations is a plus.
