Job Summary

This individual will work independently with limited or no direct supervision to provide first/second level business technology support.  They will collaborate/coordinate with business unit management and IT to support their clients in meeting business operational and financial goals.  This position requires working with clients at all levels (field operations, knowledge workers, supervision/management and executive) in providing operational / business technology support. 

Essential Functions

  • Provide primary technical support to senior CNP officers, their admins, and the board of directors, aka “client”.
  • Deploying, configuring, maintaining, moving, and replacing end user technology (such as desktop computer, laptop, printers, smartphone, mobile workforce devices, etc.) and software.
  • Assists in the analysis/defining of client technology requirements.
  • Collaborate / Coordinate with IT (LAN, Network, Desktop and Security) and external vendors to provide onsite end-user / infrastructure support.
  • Assist Corporate IT in troubleshooting network WAN (routers, switches, etc.) and LAN equipment (servers, VOIP phones, etc.) as needed to ensure the functionality of resources utilized in executive workspaces.
  • Assist in selection and testing of technology hardware and application software.
  • Participate in presenting/preparing end user training and/or documentation.
  • Provide status reports and problem summaries, and project statuses.
  • Comply with the CNP asset management process.
  • Identify and escalate client issues as needed in a timely manner toward resolution.
  • Utilize the CNP problem management system to track work and provide feedback surveys after each client engagement.
  • Participate in assigned internal projects.
  • Provide conference room setup, testing, and meeting/ event support.
  • Provide potential multi-day support for scheduled and ad-hoc onsite/offsite meetings.

Education Description

Associate degree or 5 years of relevant technical support experience.

Experience

5 years’ experience providing high-level customer service and technical support of personal computers, peripherals, printers, local area networks, wide area networks, and software in both desktop and help desk environments.
