Job Summary

To supervise and direct the daily activities of pipeline technician personnel to complete tasks in the area of integrity management. Responsible to ensure that all operation and maintenance of the transmission system in accordance with established plans, policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.  Coach and develop the Integrity Management Field Operations Team ensuring desired individual performance, desired team performance and maintain a cohesive team environment.  Participate as an effective team member of Integrity Management that strategically supports company and corporate goals and objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Supervises daily activities within integrity management field operations including, but not limited to, integrity assessments, indirect surveys, and integrity digs.
  • Responsible for directing the daily activities of company personnel and contract personnel, ensures annual performance reviews are completed, schedules all required training, and ensures employees are trained and equipped to complete all assigned job activities.
  • Maintains departmental records to ensure compliance and performs administrative duties involving timesheets; ordering equipment; scheduling resources; review of field reports and data; expense report approvals; managing work orders; and supervising all departmental processes to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assists in developing capital and expense budgets, actively monitors/manages budgets throughout the year, negotiates contracts for service, and manages expense/capital projects through completion. Processes invoices and ensures projects are completed in a timely manner.
  • Implements Integrity Management Field Operation’s strategic plan.  Monitors plan results to ensure the highest level of customer driven, safe, cost effective, quality results that assure compliance with all internal and external codes, policy, procedures and standards. 

 

Experience

  • Requires bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of service and leadership experience.
  • Requires 7 years leadership experience in natural gas Operations or Engineering OR a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university plus four (4) years' experience in natural gas Operations or Engineering.
