Job Summary:
Monitors, dispatches and loads balance work orders to field personnel. Responds to requests on information and provides communication between customer service representatives and field personnel.   This will be for a 2p-10p shift with rotating weekends.

Essential Functions:

• Answers the telephone and performs call-ahead request for field technicians. 
• Receives and dispatches calls and locates.   
• Dispatches orders via Mobile Data.  
• Monitors, routes, and documents work orders to service technicians; reviews backlogged work orders. 
• Coordinates daily operational requirements between internal and external stakeholders.  
• Resolves scheduling concerns between the company’s Call Center, customers, and supervision to achieve optimum results. 
• Acts as liaison between the company, customers, state and local governmental agencies in an emergency situation. 

Education:   
Requires a high school diploma or GED. 

Experience: 
Requires one year experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system  and at least one year experience in/or supporting gas distribution operations or at least one year of equivalent dispatching experience.
